As the Social Media Manager, you will spearhead the management and strategic growth of our brand’s presence across multiple social platforms. You’ll take full ownership of our online engagement strategies, lead creative social initiatives and drive cross-functional collaborations that push the envelope on what a gaming publisher can achieve in the social space.
Core Responsibilities
Your role will involve overseeing and executing a wide array of tasks that build brand visibility and deepen community engagement. Here’s what you will be doing:

Daily Oversight of Social Platforms
You will be managing all of Pearl Abyss Europe’s active social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Each channel has its own tone and audience, so your approach will need to be adaptive and tailored accordingly. -
Strategic Planning and Scheduling
Create, implement and maintain a consistent publishing calendar using tools like Sprout or similar content scheduling platforms. Your schedule will align with global marketing efforts, product updates and community activities to keep audiences informed and engaged. -
Campaign Creation and Brand Promotion
Take charge of developing innovative campaigns and competitions that align with our branding goals. From giveaways and livestream events to community polls and influencer collaborations, your efforts will be at the forefront of our digital engagement strategy. -
Global Coordination and Team Integration
Work closely with international colleagues from the North American and Korean offices, alongside local Marketing, PR, Community Management and Game Master teams. This collaboration ensures consistency in messaging and helps you synchronize strategic efforts across global markets. -
Community Growth and Relationship Building
Constantly seek opportunities to grow our social communities, improve reach and engage meaningfully with our fans. Whether through user-generated content initiatives or partnerships with influencers, you’ll be the driving force behind expanding our social ecosystem. -
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Utilize analytics tools – including platform-native dashboards and reporting features in tools like Sprout – to measure post performance, engagement rates and community sentiment. Use this data to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI on campaigns. -
Maintaining a Unified Brand Voice
Ensure that all social content maintains a consistent tone of voice that resonates with Pearl Abyss’ global brand identity. Your copywriting and messaging should embody the professionalism, creativity and passion that our games represent. -
Industry Trend Monitoring
Stay informed about the latest trends in gaming, digital entertainment, memes and emerging social tools. You’ll be expected to keep Pearl Abyss Europe’s social media content relevant, fun and on the pulse of what’s hot in the world of gaming.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this exciting role, we expect candidates to meet the following baseline requirements:

Academic or Equivalent Experience
A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, media, game design or a related field. Alternatively, comparable industry experience that demonstrates your ability to thrive in a similar role. -
Work Authorization in the Netherlands
You must hold a visa or passport that permits you to reside and work in the Netherlands legally. -
Fluency in English
You should possess a C1 or higher level of English language proficiency in reading, writing and speaking. Clear and compelling communication is vital to this role. -
Relevant Social Media Experience
Demonstrated success managing social media accounts, particularly in the gaming or entertainment sectors within the European market. -
Familiarity with Social Tools
Experience using social media tools for both content management and analytics purposes. Comfort with scheduling platforms, tracking dashboards and content creation tools is essential. -
Communication and Collaboration Skills
