Salary and Compensation

Compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific experience, skill level and the position offered. Pay ranges from:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, your core tasks will include:

  • Welding and Fabrication: Precision welding, cutting and fabrication of structural steel elements

  • Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and executing technical drawings, blueprints and layout plans

  • Assembly Work: Aligning and fitting steel structures based on detailed specifications

  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring all output meets company and industry workmanship standards

  • Tool Operation: Safe and effective use of advanced fabrication machinery and hand tools

  • Collaboration: Coordinating with coworkers, engineers and project leads to meet shared goals

  • Workplace Maintenance: Keeping a tidy, hazard-free work environment in line with safety regulations

Candidate Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Journeyperson Welder certification or have equivalent hands-on work experience

  • Demonstrated Level C Welder competency at minimum

  • Strong skills in FCAW welding and structural steel fabrication

    • CWB certification is considered a strong asset

  • Excellent ability to read and follow blueprints and layout diagrams

  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License

  • Safety-conscious and highly collaborative

  • First Aid certification and forklift operation experience are beneficial but not mandatory

  • Committed to precision work and proactive problem-solving
