Core Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior project managers to oversee daily activities across multiple departments.
• Participate in delivering interior fit-out projects of varied scales and complexities.
• Support the execution and coordination of project plans using Civil 3D and similar tools (training provided).
• Track project deadlines, milestones and deliverables to ensure timelines are met efficiently.
• Conduct detailed organizational assessments and present actionable improvement strategies.
• Develop formal reports and briefings summarizing research findings and proposing new initiatives.
• Attend site visits and contribute to meetings that monitor on-site progress and project status.
• Collaborate on health & safety planning, ensuring method statements and risk assessments are thorough and up to date.
• Manage changes and adjustments to project contracts, including tracking extras and omissions.
• Liaise with subcontractors, reviewing and approving invoicing relevant to your assigned projects.
• Uphold ongoing, clear and professional communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Training & Development

The selected candidate will benefit from guided mentorship and structured learning experiences under the supervision of experienced project managers. This includes:

• Civil 3D software training for planning and execution.
• Guidance on producing and evaluating construction documentation.
• Exposure to all stages of a project lifecycle, from concept to completion.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in the construction or interior fit-out sector.
• A full UK driving licence (a must-have due to project mobility needs).
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Fluent communication skills with strong proficiency in both verbal and written English.
• An enthusiastic, detail-oriented approach with a hunger to learn.

Desirable Skills and Additional Assets

While not mandatory, the following qualifications and experiences will further enhance your application:

• A university degree in Business Administration, Management, Construction Management or a similar discipline.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, AutoCAD or other CAD applications.
• NVQ Level 3 in Shopfitting or Bench Joinery.
• Site-based construction experience.
• HNC or Bachelor’s degree in Construction.
